First, find your airport. Then, enter potential destinations, price ranges, dates, and travel types. Or, just search for all deals. I was surprised by the number of “discount flights” that happen every week from my airport!

The Internet is brimming with online art programs. Most of them rely on Adobe Flash to work, which makes them unusable on iPads and iPhones. However, my site of the week, Cloud Canvas, was built in HTML5, what some people are calling the replacement for Flash. It’s really cool and has a lot of features. How many times have you been called by a friend asking for help on their PC? You try to talk him through it over the phone, but it isn’t working. If only you could see his screen… or even better, control it!

Well, now you can, for free. Instead of asking your friend to install some program like GotoMyPC, just have him pull up his web browser and go to Join.me.

Once there, have him click “Share” button. It will ask him to run a very small file called join.me.exe. Once he runs it, a small dashboard will appear at the top of his screen giving a number. You will then go to Join.me and enter the number, install the file, and voila!

You can now help him! This is a great utility, and best of all, while it is in beta, it is free! It’s brought to you by the same people that created Logmein. Have fun!
